Cushinstown

Cushinstown is one of the largest parishes in County Wexford, Ireland. There are 3 churches in the parish: Rathgarogue, Cushinstown and Terrath. The parish has a population of approximately 2500. There are a number of villages in the parish including Ballywilliam, Cushinstown, Ballinaboola and Cassagh.

The parish of Cushinstown is served by four sporting organisations. By far the most well-known of these is the Rathgarogue-Cushinstown GAA Club. The others are Ballyanne Racquetball Club, Terrath Badminton Club and A.F.C. Cushinstown (soccer).

There are two primary schools in the parish. Cushinstown NS serves the Cushinstown and Terrath areas while Rathgarogue NS serves people from the Rathgarogue area. Most people from the parish go to secondary school in the nearby town of New Ross as there is no secondary school in the parish.
